I’m Lia.

Serbian-born, currently based in Dallas - raised on war stories and the art of not saying everything.

My writing and artwork have existed publicly long before this book - through platforms I built and contributions to established publications across three languages. It has reached a wide audience, but more importantly, it has remained consistent in its intent: to examine what sits beneath the surface, without softening it for comfort.

I don’t write for performance.
I write for precision.

My work moves between control and feeling, intimacy and distance, illusion and truth - shaped by a life lived across cultures, contradictions, and the quiet discipline of resistance.

My debut collection, The End of the Breaking, is currently in its final stages
